I’ve heard from many neighbors on in District 4 who feel their voices have been sidelined by "maximum development at all costs," and I am committed to a growth strategy that prioritizes neighborhood resident input. </h3><h3>Drawing on my deep appreciation for democratic freedoms, I will ensure our local police answer to Middleton citizens - not Donald Trump - and remain a representative who listens first, communicates clearly, and puts your needs ahead of any outside agenda.</h3>

The Core Principle:&nbsp;Protecting our natural resources is essential to maintaining Middleton’s identity as a premier place to live.Middleton is home to a nationally recognized park system, and I am committed to its stewardship:<ul><li>Preserving Our "Green" Legacy:&nbsp;From the Pheasant Branch Conservancy to our neighborhood parks, I will work to protect the spaces that make Middleton unique.</li><li>LEED Gold Stewardship:&nbsp;As the first city in Wisconsin to achieve LEED Gold status, Middleton is a leader in sustainability. I will ensure our environmental initiatives are both effective and fiscally responsible.</li><li>Tree City USA:&nbsp;I will support the continued investment in our canopy and trails to ensure they remain accessible for future generations.</li></ul>

I am committed to protecting Middleton’s award-winning park system and conservancy lands to ensure they remain accessible and beautiful for all generations. By applying fiscal oversight to our environmental initiatives, I will work to balance sustainable growth with the preservation of the green spaces that define our "Good Neighbor" character.

Maintaining Our Parks & Environment

The Core Principle:&nbsp;We must balance Middleton's growth with the preservation of our neighborhood character.Some growth is necessary to slow property tax growth and advance housing affordability, but it shouldn't come at the expense of the people who already call Middleton home. My approach to development includes:<ul><li>Neighborhood Integrity:&nbsp;I support a "Good Neighbor" approach that prioritizes community-backed compromises over "maximum development at all costs".</li><li>Infrastructure First:&nbsp;New development must be supported by adequate infrastructure - including stormwater management and traffic flow - to ensure it doesn't degrade the quality of life for existing residents.</li><li>Respecting Resident Input:&nbsp;I’ve seen cases where neighborhood concerns were sidelined by the Council. I will advocate for a development process that puts resident feedback at the center of the decision-making process.</li></ul>

I support a "Good Neighbor" approach to growth that prioritizes community-backed compromises over "maximum development at all costs". I am committed to a new level of transparency and resident input to protect the unique character of our District 4 neighborhoods, while still being open to smart growth.
