Smart growth means protecting our neighbors. I support development that balances tax relief and affordability with a firm commitment to the families who already call Middleton home. My approach to development includes:

• Neighborhood Integrity: I support a "Good Neighbor" approach that prioritizes community-backed compromises over "maximum development at all costs".

• Infrastructure First: New development must be supported by adequate infrastructure - including stormwater management and traffic flow - to ensure it doesn't degrade the quality of life for existing residents.

• Respecting Resident Input: I’ve seen cases where neighborhood concerns were sidelined by the Council. I will advocate for a development process that puts resident feedback at the center of the decision-making process.
